Holding it all Together

 

He's got both hands stuffed inside the pocket
of his pinstriped jacket.

It's raining heavy wet stuff
trickling down his neck.
and dripping off his nose

But that's all lost on him
He's forgotten it even before it hits him.

Standing there,
Soaking wet,
staring at something in his head,

One button holds it all together.
